Studio One Performance Hub teachers represent a team of experienced industry professionals providing quality choreography and training for emerging performers.  

Our team are passionate, qualified teachers and our standards are set from the start so that everyone feels included and involved in their future.

Our passion is connecting through movement and sharing our love for the art of dance.  

Established in 2022, we provide a fun, safe, encouraging and professional environment for students to learn and grow as they live and breathe excellence in motion.  

Our studio is directed by Kim Skelton supported by our highly trained and certified teachers who have a wealth of experience teaching and performing various styles and disciplines.  

Miss Kim

Miss Kim is Studio One’s Director of Jazz and Hip Hop, with over 30 years of experience as a performer, teacher and choreographer.  Kim formally trained under Karen and Kim Barker, with a foundation in community professional dance and stage productions.

Among the many notable career highlights, Kim led a professional Brisbane-based talent agency providing dancers, performers and brand ambassadors to many corporate clients. Kim has also been a lead choreographer for a suite of professional cheerleading and dance squads around Australia.

Miss Daniella

Daniella started dancing at age three and holds a Diploma in Musical Theatre and an Advanced Diploma in Elite dance from Davidia Lind Dance Centre.

Daniella has also performed professionally as a dancer on MSC cruises OPERA and as the dance captain on MSC cruises POESIA. During these assignments, Daniella performed in large-scale productions encompassing the full repertoire of musical and dance theatre including, jazz, broadway, lyrical and hip-hop. 

Miss Daniella is also a passionate dance teacher in the genres of jazz, hip-hop and lyrical and has a dance-teaching philosophy grounded in physical discovery and fun.

Miss Claire

Claire studied classical and contemporary dance and has travelled Australia and the world as a performer. Claire is a qualified dance teacher with her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and has been a trainer and assessor for courses in Musical Theatre, and Cert IV in Dance online.

Claire has taught at many full-time studios, and dance schools as well as conducted professional open classes and workshops around Brisbane and the Gold Coast. With a diverse range of experience in performing and creating Claire brings her love of dance and musical theatre to Studio One Performance Hub.

Miss Heidi

Heidi is an experienced performer and teacher, with a background in theatre and music. A QUT graduate, Heidi featured in the nationally televised Lord Mayor’s Carols In The City for many years, has regularly performed with Underground Opera and The 7 Sopranos, and is a touring member of Arrival Australia, performing as Agnetha.

Performance credits include: Legally Blonde (Elle Woods), Spring Awakening (Wendla), Into The Woods (Cinderella), Next To Normal (Natalie), Mamma Mia (Sophie), Spamalot (Lady of the Lake), Chicago (Roxie Hart), Wicked (Elphaba) and The Last Five Years (Cathy), in addition to TVC and film credits.

Heidi is currently completing her Masters in Vocal Pedagogy at Queensland Conservatorium of Music, and has extensive experience as a vocal coach, theatre teacher, and workshop facilitator. She loves working with emerging artists, helping them grow their skills and gain confidence.

Miss Sophie

Sophie started dancing at the age of five and has been dancing and performing ever since. She has multiple dance examinations under her belt including the highest Comdance studio examination for tap, Advanced Gold Star. Sophie has attended numerous dance workshops with leading industry professionals including Marko Panzic and Briar Nolet. She has also performed in multiple productions including 'Grease' and 'Thoroughly Modern Millie'. Sophie has now made the shift to teaching and choreographing and has completed her Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management, while simultaneously studying a dual degree at UQ. She currently teaches and choreographs throughout Brisbane and has worked with both competitive troupes and recreational students. Sophie has also worked closely with St Margaret's Anglican Girls' School for the past two years. She was their dance troupe choreographer in 2024 and choreographed their school musical in 2022. She has also worked on television shows, such as the 2022 Stan Series 'Joe vs Carole'. Sophie also runs the social media for Studio One, using the knowledge she has gained from her marketing and PR bachelors at UQ.

Her passion lies in teaching the next generation and empowering young people to be the best dancers they can be. She is all about staying up to date with the latest industry trends in both training methods, choreography and social media!

Keeley Tzoutzias

Miss Keeley is a skilled dance professional with deep roots in performance and education. Keeley trained from age 3 to 17 at the Beverley Prange Dance Centre in Rockhampton. Keeley earned a diploma in elite dance and performance from the Queensland College
of Dance. Keeley has performed extensively around Queensland including performances with the Dolphins NRL dance squad. Keeley also runs a choreography and filming business. She loves teaching tap and jazz technique and is passionate about sharing her love
of dance with our Studio One community.

Jason Fuchs

Mr Jason has deep experience in dance and acrobatic arts.
Jason has completed a Certificate IV in Dance. He is also a fully qualified acrobatic and aerial arts instructor. Jason received the 2021 Dale White creative scholarship for acrobatic arts. He was also offered a scholarship to Alegria Dance studios to further his studies in ballet.

Qualified in Alixa Flexibility, Jason promotes safe dance practice and technique within his training.

Jason is also an experienced adjudicator and has adjudicated dance competitions in Brisbane and interstate

Shane Wuerthner

Shane Wuerthner is a former professional ballet dancer who’s career spanned 12 years and 3 continents. He danced leading roles in all of the major classical ballets with theVienna State Opera and San Francisco Ballet as a Soloist and Queensland Ballet as aPrincipal Dancer. His Repertoire has included Swan Lake, Sleeping, Beauty, Giselle, Coppelia, La Fille Mal Gardee, The Nutcracker, La Sylphide as well as contemporary works by Jiri Killian, Christopher Wheeldon, Twyla Tharp, Alexei Ratmansky, Natalie Weir and Jorma Elo.

He has been invited to perform with Andre Rieu in Paris, Leipzig and Austria and has appeared in touring ballet productions in The UK, Italy, Paris, and across The United States. In 2017 he retired from dance to pursue his interest in movement and fitness and has since created Athletistry Studio which launched in 2020 and Athletistry Ballet Strong which will be launching in 2022.

Athletistry is the culmination of years of dance study combined with physical fitness to help people realise their potential. Now Shane works with young pre-professional and professional dancers as a ballet and performance coach and is developing new methods of conditioning to help prevent injury in young dancers.

Emma Ortez

Miss Emma began dancing at 5 years old and has an extensive training history, most notably when she was 17 Emma was accepted straight into the final year of the English National Ballet School, National Ballet School of Canada, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, and the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts. Emma has danced professionally with the English National Ballet and Hong Kong Ballet, performing in many classics such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote and The Nutcracker, along with numerous contemporary works.

She began teaching ballet in 2004 in Hong Kong at Jean M. Wong School of Ballet, one of the finest and most prestigious schools in the Asia-Pacific region. Upon returning to Australia in 2011, Emma has been a freelance teacher based in Sydney, and later on in Brisbane, and has been invited to guest teach at a large number of ballet schools and workshops around Australia and overseas, most recently having been invited to guest teach at the English National Ballet School.
